Operations Roll-out

In 2022 I completed a project focusing on recruiting the full operation and maintenance team for a first of a kind co-located Gasifier and AD facility. This involved developing a team structure based on operational requirements, creating role descriptions and candidate assessment criteria, recruiting a team, and implementing a comprehensive training program for the operation and maintenance of a £200m waste to energy facility. With no existing facility to base this process on, it required a significant degree of workstream analysis and supplier engagement to ensure a successful outcome. This is now one of the best performing waste gasifiers in the UK.
